It is finally here! On Thursday 14th of March the first English edition of Feminer Aan Tafel will take place in Delft. Ten role models are ready to attend to inspire and motivate 50 young students. Come enjoy a three-course vegetarian dinner on the Oude Delft in Sociëteit het Meisjeshuis. 

But who exactly will be present in Delft on March 14? In this article you will get to know the role models!

Warna Munzebrock

Warna Munzebrock is the Chief Legal Officer at the Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure (RDI). A function which she combines with Deputy Director Administration, Legal Affairs and Communications. She has a degree in Law and studied at various universities in the Netherlands and in the United States.

Warna has extensive experience with the supervision and monitoring in the world of
telecommunication. She is a former head of the Supervisory Policies and Sanctions division. Prior to joining the RDI, she worked at the Authority for Consumers and Markets and the Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority.

She attaches great importance to the legal quality of the decisions agreed within the RDI. In addition she likes to implement behavioural science in the field of operations of the RDI.

Mérida Miller

Mérida Miller founded Project Fearless, a non-profit that runs empowering after-school courses for girls and non-binary kids in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. One of Project Fearless’ pillars is that *everyone* can be a role model — from our Coaches to the kids themselves. And Mérida’s constantly learning from and inspired by the humans who join the Fearless crew, from 9-year-olds upwards!

Zahra Boufadiss

After completing her masters in criminal law and philosophy of law, Zahra went on to become a criminal lawyer in 2015. She currently works at Jebbink Soeteman Advocaten, a prestigious criminal law firm in the capital. However, on 1 March she will start at another law firm, Meijers Canatan Advocaten.

Christy Aikhorin

Christy, originally from Kano, Nigeria, has made significant strides in sustainable development, currently leading as Director at Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) International in the Netherlands, leveraging her Master’s in Chemical Engineering and over 15 years of project management experience. She founded UnikBlends, advocating for ‘slow clothing’ against fast fashion, and co-founded SheSustains, a platform empowering women. Her work, deeply rooted in ecofeminism, aims at fostering sustainability and addressing issues like pollution, climate change, and gender disparities. Christy’s human-centric approach promotes independent thinking and collaborative spaces for sustainable living. Her journey is a testament to her dedication to merging technical expertise with creative solutions for a more equitable and sustainable future.

Chun Xia Chao

During her studies, Chun was already working at EY. After her master at the Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam School of Management, Chun started her career at a non-profit organization, whereas she has started her career within Siemens in 2011. Within the concern, she has seen different aspects of the concerns, from focusing on national level in her role as Commercial Project manager and Business Unit Controller within Siemens Nederland N.V. as well on international level in her role as Corporate Financial Auditor at Siemens AG in Munich (Germany) -where she has the chance to get further insights in the various businesses within the Siemens concern- as well in her role as Finance Manager CFO for the various holdings in the Netherlands at Siemens International Holding B.V., with a further focus on shareholder management and the linked activities. As per 2022, Chun is the CFO of Mendix Technology B.V. in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Mendix is a world-leading low code development platform and acquired by Siemens in 2018.

Thea van der Wijk

Thea van der Wijk is VP Intellectual Property and Legal Affairs at KeyGene and part of the KeyGene management team.
She has worked as a patent attorney at NLO and as a biochemist at both research institutions and industry. KeyGene developes and uses technological innovation to improve and accelerate crop breeding.

Irene Kujembola

Irene Kujembola is Director Architecture, Enterprise Data and A.I at Nike. In her role she focuses on standardized technology frameworks, patterns and solutions to design globally available, consistent and trusted data and analytics products for Nike.

Luce van Kempen

Luce van Kempen is Head of Strategy & Sustainable Transformation at KLM Cityhopper, she is responsible for the transformation into a more sustainable regional airline. She is also a Crown Member of the Social-Economic Council, where she advises the Cabinet on sustainability transitions and intergenerational solidarity, and she fulfills advisory positions at the Inspectorate of Education and on an Environmental, Social & Governance board of an energy company.

Tjitske Albers

Tjitske Albers, contract manager at BAM, is now responsible for contract management in the Netherlands after a 2-year management traineeship within BAM Group. Her focus is in BAM Energy & Water and promoting contractual awareness within the organization. She is also actively involved in BAM’s Women’s Network. Tjitske has a background in Delft, with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a master’s degree in Construction Management and Engineering, including a pre-master’s degree in private law from the University of Amsterdam.

Florine Bruijn

Florine is strategy consultant at Monitor Deloitte in The Netherlands for the past three years, and prior to this she has worked as a strategist in the advertising industry in Singapore. She is involved in growth and go-to-market strategy projects for clients across different industries. For example, she has worked for IKEA, LEGO, Philips and Rabobank. Moreover, she is co-author of a whitepaper on Social Commerce and participant of Deloitte’s Digital Podcast ‘The Ramp’ on emerging retail channels (Switch the channel – The Ramp | Podcast on Spotify). Beyond this, she is also involved in the Deloitte Impact Foundation, delivering consulting services to multiple NGO’s. Florine completed her high school in Sweden, a Bachelor in Economics and Business Economics at Maastricht University and a Master in Management at Singapore Management University.
